The distance between the inside of the markings.

Height

Measure the height from the floor to the top of the shoulder blade. Stirfry measures 2" and 18" he needs a size S/M.

Should I size up or down?
Make sure your dog fits into the range for both height and paw width.
If you need to size up for height, you will have larger boots, you can purchase a set of two Velcro Boot Straps for just $4.99 to ensure boots stay securely on.

If you need to size up to accommodate a wider paw then you will have some excess straps once you adjust the fit for the first time.

No worries, we designed the straps to be adjustable for various dog heights and back lengths - you can just tie the excess straps in a knot and cut them (they won't fray) or just let them hang down.

Not ideal for :

Teeny-tiny dogs under 5 lbs, very large canines, or pups with large paws & short legs, including Basset Hounds, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Corgis, Dachshunds, Great Danes, Greyhounds, Pit/Pit Mixes, Rottweilers, Saint Bernards, Shar-Peis, Whippets.
